MARCELLI

Marcelli lies at the bottom of Mount Conero, a lovely village set between the blue sea and the green of the Mediterranean maquis. Here we decided to build our houses. Near Marcelli there are many important towns and medieval villages that well worth a visit. You can go back in time just visiting Osimo, Castelfidardo, Camerano, Offagna, Loreto and Recanati.

Let’s see in further details these villages:

Osimo is a medieval village set on the top of a hill and it is 12 Km far from Marcelli. There you can visit its interesting underground caves as well as ancient palaces, several churches and Roman walls from where you can enjoy the panorama.

At 13 Km you can find Castelfidardo, well known all over the world for his Accor­dion industry.

Offagna is a known for his medieval celebrations in July.

Loreto is 15 Km far from Marcelli. An ancient tradition recounts that the Holy House of Loreto is the same walled Chamber of Our Lady that had existed in Nazareth, in Galilea, in wich Mary was born, was brought up and received the angelic an­nunciation.

Recanati is the Poetry World center because of his most famous citizen and poet Giacomo Leopardi (1798- 1837).

Camerano is famous for his Rosso Conero wine production, the perfect beverage to accompany the good food you can eat in every restautant of the region.

Marcelli is also a starting point for several interesting places rich in history, charm and culture as for example Frasassi Caves, Urbino (capital of the Italian Renais­sance), Ascoli Piceno (town made of travertine) Macerata (famous for an ancient amphitheater ), Civitanova Marche and its several shops and outlet of the most Italian famous brands (Tod’s, Hogan, Paciotti, Nero Giardini, Poltrobe Frau).

Each Year FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education - a non-government, non-profit organization promoting sustainable development through environmental education) awards with Blue Flag the best beaches for their sustainable development through strict criteria dealing with Water Quality, Environmental Education and Infor­mation, Environmental Management, and Safety and Other Services.

SIROLO

Sirolo is a lovely town which rises as a balcony above the Adriatic Sea. It is not far from Marcelli and Numana, well known for its harbor; public transport and touristic shuttles connect all these towns.
