The norther village of the Conero Coast is Portonovo, the pearl of this area, fully immersed on woods of the Conero Park, a small oasis of unspoilt scenery. There you can visit the Fortino Napoleonico (blockhouse built for Napoleone) and Santa Maria Church, (real pearl of the Romanesque period).
